This is pretty cool and pretty lame

My old friend Dave is in this ridiculous guns and roses cover band, Mr Brownstone, and they played on Letterman.  Kind of amazing, but  also kind of sad.  If you were wondering, he is Izzzy.  I felt more proud when Tyler Ramsey and Bill Reynolds were on Conan, because they were in a real band, called Band of Horses, not a joke band.  But jokes are pretty cool
