Linnea (my best friend and high school roommate) and I tore the pages out of Life magazine and taped them on our dorm room wall. They were pages from a photo journalistic piece on Albinism called "redefining Beauty."
I guess this might have been the beginning of a journey towards unveiling my own beauty. I fight an inner fight against albinism every day, but sometimes it makes me smile. Watching this video made me smile.

Every time someone says something negative about albanisim, I always say one of my dearest friends during elementary school was albino, and she was beautiful. Eventually, when I find a picture, which is easier now that you are famous, they agree. Then I explain that you had a really big machine that we had to push all around school. -JMH
and apparently i never learned to spell the word, oh heavens
You are one of the most beautiful women I know.
