Now with Obama winning North Carolina and even my backwoods home of Jackson County, we have a sweep:

Beverly Perdue (D) - the state's first female governor

Kay Hagan (D) - unseated the GOP's Elizabeth Dole

and this just in......I think my Uncle Jerry was elected to the Swain County school board.  Loving North Carolina right now.

All this cuz people like my Granny Ruth voted Democrat!!!!
